Michael is a company director and manager of the Internetrix Online Performance team. He graduated with a Computing Science degree from Dalhousie University, located in his hometown of Halifax in Canada and has been working in the digital space since 2000. Michael has been leading the Online Performance team since 2011 delivering public and private training, mentoring and presenting. Michael’s team delivers high value entry level to  enterprise analytics solutions to their customers ensuring maximisation of ROI on their analytics investment. Michael also runs the Internetrix Chinese teams in their Beijing and Xiamen offices providing enterprise performance services into the Chinese market.

Michael was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the east coast of Canada. His overseas upbringing and schooling affords him the ability to look at issues and opportunities with a uniquely North American eye. His years of Australian industry experience as a senior manager, developer, analyst, public speaker, trainer and president of the ICT Illawarra board has allowed Michael to gain a broad range of ICT knowledge and insight into ICT issues and opportunities faced by small to enterprise Australian businesses. The diversity between his upbringing, education and industry experience provides Michael some unique insights on the industry and the Australian and Chinese business landscapes.

Michael and his team believe that from measurement comes success. Long before leading the performance team Michael had a strong affinity with numbers and the black and white of data when making decisions. This effectively translates into one of Internetrix’s mantras “Data Drive Decisions” which resonates well with clients. Experience, foresight, wisdom and industry nous provide a great value when making business decisions, but the one infallible way to ensure you understand your customers and undertake relevant and effective change is to listen to your data.
